Directions For Use

Place thumb on ridge and open cap. Do not use if tamper evident seal is broken. Brush thoroughly at least twice a day or as directed by your dental professional. Do Not Swallow. Children should spit and rinse thoroughly after brushing. Do not use in children 6 years of age or less. For children aged 6 years and younger Colgate recommends a specially formulated children's toothpaste, My First Colgate.
For best results: Brush at least twice a day. Floss daily. See your dentist regularly.

I had been using the white paste version of this toothpaste for several years, and I didn't notice that the formula had changed to a "new" blue gel until after I had opened it. The new formula is terrible. It doesn't have the same flavour or texture, my teeth don't feel as clean, and it doesn't have the same breath freshening effect. My teeth also appear less white than they did with the old formula. The white version was the only minty toothpaste that didn't taste soapy to me. I will now be shopping around for a new brand. I would have given the product 0 stars if allowed.

You may recall that it originally came in 3 versions - a white paste, a blue paste, and a blue gel. I have always disliked gel toothpastes and consciously avoided that one, and was pleased that my preferred option was the one that lasted as the other versions were discontinued. So I was extremely disappointed to discover you have changed the formula to a gel. The flavour is different (and worse) and it is overall less pleasant to use. This was entirely unnecessary, and based on the other reviews here, no-one likes this change.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Locky from Product changed to a blue paste - it is now terrible. Very disappointed with the new blue coloured gel "new look paste, same great taste". Teeth don't feel anywhere near as clean compared to the previous white paste, and it now feels like I'm brushing with a children's toothpaste due to the colour. Definitely not repurchasing. A company shouldn't change what isn't broken.

The packaging is so fun and unique—it’s not your typical toothpaste tube, which makes it stand out. The blue gel formula is great, and the flavor is really nice—fresh without being too overpowering. Rated 3 out of 5 by Upside down from Have always loved the design of this product instead of a squeezy tube. Don't like the new formula however! Where is the science that says a liquid gel is better than a paste? What really is so different between the effectiveness of gels or pastes? Probably not much. You should have stuck with the old formula. Change for changes sake is not necessary. This is a downgrade not an upgrade.

Have used the old version for many years & did not realise the product had changed to a gel. Will not be buying this again. Will be shopping for another brand

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When i took the time to read the instructions on the back of the pack, it was as simple as standard toothpaste to use. I loved the simple bottle to use to squeeze out the paste, and the ease of knowing how much i was applying to the brush. I was surprised with the texture being smooth and it felt really nice on my teeth. I loved the freshness it left in my mouth after brushing and even got my children excited to brush their teeth so this is a winner in my eyes. My teeth are feeling fresh, clean and definately turning a shade of white over time.
