Directions For Use

Wrap about 50cm around your middle fingers
Insert floss at the top of the tooth and work gently downwards
Clean both sides of the tooth and along the gumline, using a clean section of floss every few teeth.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Unpleasant from I Hate This Dental Floss While this Colgate Dental Floss may be "new", it is certainly not "improved". I find the new plastic container unnecessarily large and bulky, but the biggest disappointment is with the dental floss itself. The floss is hard, dry, round, and actually difficult to squeeze between the teeth. I Hate It. It is really unpleasant to use - not soft and flat like the original Colgate Mint Waxed Dental Floss so many of us have been using happily for years - and I detected no 'waxiness' or 'mintiness' at all. Why do companies always feel the need to mess with products that work, and that work WELL? Looks like I'll be shopping around for another brand, with a "kinder" dental floss.

It doesn’t glide through teeth as it used to and actually gets stuck between tight teeth almost ripping fillings out!! Inferior in every way. The old product was the only one I’ve used for years and had no issues with it at all. I would not recommend the new dental floss nor would I buy it again…total waste of money! Will search for an alternative. Also….why is it the same length…100m…yet now in an inconvenient, cumbersome pack twice as big?!! 🤷‍♀️

I usually have a couple spare in the bathroom, but my stash was depleted so I bought the “new and improved” floss. I’m so disappointed! It’s not a flat thread like it always was. This floss is thick, round, frays easily and now won’t fit between my teeth so is unusable to me. I actually thought I had a bad batch so optimistically purchased a second one, only to discover it was indeed the new and “improved” product. Unfortunately, I now must shop around for another brand. Please stop improving products that work perfectly to begin with!!!

It tastes fantastic and leaves a minty, fresh taste in my mouth. It also doesn’t smell bad even after use. Which is a bug plus. It is smooth and slides easily between my teeth. I did think it could be slightly thicker to fill the spots. I have a mix of spaces between my teeth - some crowded and some more widely spaced. So I am basing this on my average exercise. Overall it is an enjoyable floss to use. I have always used Colgate for my oral health. Once again, another good product that I would be happy to use. I keep one pack in my handbag and one in my bathroom!

Rated 1 out of 5 by M2323 from New improved dental floss stuck between my teeth as it is very breakable and not glide well. I am a regular customer of Colgate dental floss over many years. I am totally disappointed in the newly marketed as less breakable and glide between the teeth well. The dental floss got stuck between my teeth and I went to a dentist to remove the floss as it is very breakable. It is extremely costly to use this product as a result. I personally recommend the previous line of dental floss as it did its job properly, there wasn’t any breaking at all during my regular flossing ( three times daily) over many years.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Dan’s teeth from Like flossing with garden twine What did you do? Colgate floss was my go to - this ‘new & improved’ rubbish is like twine. Stringy, shreds, too thick for any normal teeth. It was on sale so bought two, will be returning one & regretting the one I can’t.

It is a little thinner than the first replacement of my favourite dental floss (which I used happily for 10+ years). Unfortunately, I still cannot get the new improved version in between (almost all of) my teeth. I will not be buying this product.
