One bottle of Dettol Washing Machine Cleaner provides a single cleaning occasion.
Clean the detergent drawer, door and seal by diluting one tablespoon (15ml) of Dettol Washing Machine Cleaner in 200ml water. Using gloves, dip a sponge or washcloth in the solution and wipe the surfaces clean.
Pour the remaining Dettol Washing Machine Cleaner liquid from the bottle into the detergent drawer. Do not use detergent. Run the washing machine at 60°C without any laundry. Older machines that have never been cleaned before may require a second treatment.
Repeat the procedure every two months to help remove germs, dirt, limescale and other residues.
Do not mix washing machine cleaners with bleach or any other household products.

No Good For Front Loader!I bought this hoping it would be ok to use in my front load washing machine. I checked the bottle to see if it was not for use in front loaders as you must only use low suds products in front loaders. There was no warning not to use in front loader. I put it in the machine as directed and watched just in case it did suds up. Lucky I watched it because it sure did suds up with in the first minute! If I had of walked away it would have caused a flood and damaged my washing machine! There should be a warning that it is only suitable for top load machines.

my clothes smell so good againI bought this a few days ago as my 1 year old front loader was starting to make all my clothes smell. Used this product for the first time and it worked.. the smell has gone and all my clothes smell so fresh again. I definitely will be using this more often.

Great ProductI tried this product for the first time today and could not be happier. My Washing Machine is sparkling clean and smells so fresh. I will no longer use the vinegar and baking soda.
I have recommended the product to both my daughters who also use the vinegar and baking soda.

Potent fragrance but A1 results!!This product is amazing for cleaning a washing machine. I love how clean it has got my machine - even the fabric softener and detergent compartments sparkle! The inside is spotless and the rubber seals are even clean from black mold like substance which I try and clean after every use but to no avail.
My only negative was the extremely potent artificial lemon fragrance which filled my home while it the product was working it ways through my machine. I suffer asthma and breathing issues and couldn't breathe. I had to open the windows and go outside for a bit but I would but it again in the future as it got my machine that clean but I'd go shopping or something while it worked it's magic!

Won't buy againI used this product for the first and last time today. I followed the instructions, cleaned the detergent drawer and door seals, added the rest of the bottle and set the machine. I came back about 30 minutes later to find soap suds spilling out of the drawer and pooling all over the laundry tiles. I then had to run a rinse cycle and clean up the mess. What a disaster, possible safety risk with potential damage to the machine. I will not buy this product again nor recommend it.

Disappointing result.I cleaned the door seal and rubber with a straight solution after trying the diluted solution as recommended, neither way cleaned the dirt from the seal, quite disappointed. After the cycle had finished the machine smelt quite fresh, unfortunately this only lasted less than a day. To use this product once a month as recommended would work out quite expensive and personally dont think its worth it. Leaving the door of the washer open would achieve the same smell. It did clean the drum and was nice and shiny but thats about it. Disappointed in this product.
