Rated 1 out of 5 by from Missing old Nivea tinted day cream I understand that we need to be aware of sun exposure, but I don't understand why all beauty companies trying to make products 2 in 1. I used simple Nivea tinted day cream for more than 15 years, and all of a sudden you cannot buy it anymore as now they put BB cream and this BB 50+ sunscreen. The tones are totally different not even close to old Nive tinted day cream, even texture is different. Nivea always had these two tones, light and dark but this "new BB light tone is just ugly. Please make again NIVEA tinted day cream and for sunscreen we will find something else.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Easy sun protection for your face I have used Nivea products on and off for many years, but had never tried the Nivea Sun BB cream before. The BB cream is just as good as many of the other Nivea products that I have used previously. I found the consistency to be nice and light. I found that it is better to moisture first and then follow with the BB cream. The reason for this is that the BB cream is not that moisturising on my skin, but I do find that the protection given by the sunscreen SPF 50 is good. The product claims to be 0% sticky and yes I found this to be correct, which is a great feature. The packaging is good, and the tube has a flip-top lid and squeezable package - this is great as it allows you to generally get all the cream out of the tube.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Close to perfect - this ticks all the boxes Anyone who knows Nivea - knows they do good products and this Nivea Sun product is no exception being a lot of things in one good product. Firstly, it is a good consistence, nice and light, and slightly moisturising but protective and doing the sunscreen SPF 50 thing properly. Additionally, it also is - as claimed - 0% sticky and a good tinted cream. The packaging is also good and practical with a flip-top lid (good for one-hand use if needed) and squeezable package - letting you get all the last bits in a tube. The only real flaw I could find in this product is the slightly white-powder finish that it leaves on the skin of oily/combination skins but if you rub it profusely leaves a matt, powder finish. It seems to be a bit whitening but not unusual for creams with high SPF.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for everyday sunscreen and coverage for... I know I’m getting high quality spf which is my main priority with enough coverage that I don’t feel like I need to wear foundation as well. I add concealer, brow gel and lip balm and I feel put together enough to tackle the day in the Queensland sun with my kids. I couldn’t love this product more and the price makes it incredible value.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good for winter Loving this sunscreen during winter. At first it comes out looking to orange for my skin tone but it does blend very well into my skin and makes everything look even. The only thing is in summer/humidity its runs alot in your sweet staining any clothing it touches.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Does not layer on other skincare; streaky I received this product as part of Nivea Insider. While I am very grateful for the opportunity to try this product it really didn't work for me. To set the scene, I am a skincare fanatic and I use 10 layers of skincare each morning (okay, maybe not quite, but at least 7). I am usually able to layer sunscreen, tinted moisturiser, or primer and foundation over all my other skincare without any problem. However, I found that it was impossible to blend Nivea BB Cream on my skin after I applied serum and moisturiser. It's patchy, pills and it simply would not sit well. However, it can be applied on bare and clean face (which makes blending easier) or otherwise applied with a wet makeup sponge. These methods do not really suit me personally as this cream alone does not provide all that my skin needs, and also the wet sponge really sheers out the amount of product and therefore I would not be applying enough for the sun protection. I think it could work better for those who needs a quick one-step product in the morning.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Surprisngly terrible I normally really love Nivea products but this one sadly was a massive disappointment. When first squeezing it the shade looks lovely but it is a very thick consistency and it just does not blend well into the face. Rather, it just smears around in a very streaky and patchy manner. To make matters worse, it feels very powdery when it dries down and hence it clings onto any areas that are dry or textured in any way (particularly in areas with peach fuzz). Just when I thought I had made it look acceptable, I stepped outdoors with my partner and he took one look at me and asked if I tried to put on 'some sort of makeup' because there were 'orange streaks' on my face and they were "REALLY orange". It's possible that a lot of these issues might be preventable if say a sponge or brush was used instead of just my fingers, but if I wanted to put that much effort in then I might as well just use foundation (and this is a sunscreen, I wouldn't bring application tools with me to the beach for example). That brings me to my next point - when trying to wash it off, it smeared even more awfully and hence I wouldn't call this suitable for a day at the beach. Honestly, I'm not sure what this is suitable for and I honestly wouldn't recommend it to anyone. The only positive I can come up with is that it smells nice and perhaps would be more ideal for oilier skin types?
