Poly Visc Lubricating Eye Ointment is a specially formulated eye ointment designed to provide soothing relief from the symptoms associated with dry, irritated eyes, particularly while you sleep.

You can buy Poly Visc Eye Ointment 3.5g online in Australia from Chemist Direct
- Remove the cap from the tube, gently pull lower eyelid down
- Squeeze a ribbon of ointment (1 - 1.5 cm) into the effected eye(s) prior to going to sleep or as directed by your doctor
- Slowly close the eye without blinking
- Keep eye closed for 1-2 minutes
- Store below 25°C.
Paraffin 30 mg/g and wool fat 30 mg/g.
- Do not touch tube tip to eye or any other surface.
- Sterile until opened.
- Donot open if security seal is damaged or missing.
- Do not use if package has been opened or damaged.
- Use before the expiration date marked on the product.
- Discard 28 days after opening.
- If irritation persists or increases, discontinue use and consult a doctor.

Effective for dry eye - reasonably priced at Chemist Direct
As a chronic sufferer of dry eye, I can attest that Polyvisc provides relief. This product is one of only two products that I know of that is available for this condition. Its label states "relief while you sleep" and this gives an indication that this product will probably leave your vision blurred. This is not a fault with the product. It is necessary because the ointment must be thick to provide relief to chronic dry eye sufferers. If your problem can be solved using other drops, try them first. Anybody with true chronic eye problems will know what I'm talking about. The Chemist Direct price is one of the best I have found which is important to me as I would use one Polvisc tube per week. Knowing that you will understand if I say, the tube is not that big for chronic users, and over time it gets expensive.

Good enough to use but next to impossible to aim where it needs to go as it curls into a ball as it comes out the nozzle, VERY FRUSTRATING
