It has an unusual name, dragons blood does not come up much in skin products. I really like this moisturiser, I particularly love the fact that it has an spf to protect my skin from burning. It has a silky consistency and pleasant fragrance and it sinks into my skin with no greasy feeling. It’s packaged nicely and feels quite luxe. This is a great anti ageing product and it has made a difference with my fines lines, it’s hydrating and plumps skin for a more youthful look. It has caused me no irritation and I can tend to have sensitive skin, so all good there. I would recommend this moisturiser for great hydration

Rated 4 out of 5 by Fiona C. from Beautiful texture This product has a rather scary-sounding name, but dragons blood has nothing to do with dragons and is actually the sappy resin extracted from the Croton Lechleri tree. This ingredient is said to have wound healing, soothing, antimicrobial and antioxidant properties. Other ingredients include glycerin, niacinamide, avocado oil, shea butter etc. It has two sunscreen filters, Ethylhexyl Methoxycinnamate and Diethylamino Hydroxybenzoyl Hexyl Benzoate. It has SPF 15 and broad spectrum protection, which is fine for most work days when I'm mostly indoors. This product comes in an elegant tall red bottle with a pump dispenser. I really like the texture and the light fragrance of the product, so much so that I look forward to applying it in the morning. It is an emulsion that feels hydrating, yet isn't heavy and absorbs well. It doesn't irritate my skin and doesn't sting my eyes, nor does it interfere with my make-up or cause any pilling. Overall this is an elegant formula. It would be nice if it had slightly higher SPF protection but that's a small negative.
