These pads are now useless. They are thin and narrow. The "wide back" is just a wider section of plastic backing, it used to be a wider section that was actually absorbent. I leak every month now, sometimes twice a month! I used to love these pads and would laugh to myself that the extra protection they offered was overkill, but I'd do anything to have that overkill back and not wake up in a puddle of blood every morning on my heavy days. The pads also have a tendency to tear when removing them from undies.
Very disappointed in Kotex. Now looking for alternatives, something thick and reliable.

There is a difference
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I previously tried the regular U by Kotex overnight pads, and I thought these would be similar, but I found that the ultrathin overnight pads are actually better. They have an extra sticky substance or glue that keeps the pad in place, so it didn’t twist during the night like other nighttime pads do. I would definitely recommend these because they offer extra stability while also being incredibly thin. The only downside is that when you first open the package, the pads may seem too long to fit in your underwear, which can be a bit surprising, but they do fit comfortably.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using the S1 U by Kotex Overnight Ultrathin Pads Long with Wings, and I’m really impressed! These pads are super thin yet provide excellent absorbency, making them perfect for overnight protection.
The long length and secure wings keep everything in place, so I don’t have to worry about leaks, even on heavy flow days. They’re also incredibly comfortable and feel light, almost like you’re not wearing anything. I also love that they’re breathable and soft, which helps prevent irritation.
If you’re looking for reliable, comfortable, and ultra-thin overnight pads, I highly recommend giving these a try!

Overnight ultimate extra long aren't the same!
These "New" packages aren't just the change with the packaging, but you've also changed the whole design of the pads themselves. They're thinner, narrowed, and are more prone to leaking than ever before.
The replacements you have pushed out, I hope this was just an honest mistake, because these aren't it.
They aren't comfortable at all.
Please bring back the wide overnight pads you had before!
I've been using those pads for 17yrs and I swore by them. Now I don't know what to use because nothing else compared to them :/
Please, bring the other ones back!
I'm anaemic due to how heavy my periods are, and I am dreading my next period knowing I won't be able to use what I always did. I never had to worry about leaking or anything. They were the pads I used throughout the day and night.
Seriously angry, disappointed and gutted you would change these to a flimsy and honestly unless design!

Please bring back the old design!
I don’t know why you changed these pads they were perfect, every time I used to were them I never leaked, with this new design there is no point for the 35cm when the extra back isn’t even protected it’s just a thin piece of material, this new product causes so many leaks now and feel super uncomfortable. I wish you’d bring my favourite pads back, please bring them back!!!!

BRING BACK THE OLD DESIGN
The new and “improved” pads are rubbish. Glue constantly sticking to you. They say they are supposed to be for a heavy flow yet they only last less then 1 hour. They rip super easy when trying to remove it from sticking to you. I used this brand for 11 years and now I have to change because they are absolute rubbish!

Great for Heavy Flows
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a medium flow with occasional heavy. I usually use ultra-thin supers from various brands but have historically avoided overnight pads because they tend to be clunky, thick, and uncomfortable. Not so with these.
These pads are similar in thickness to Kotex's regualr and super pads in the same line. They're pretty flexible and absorbant enough to catch everything except the most errant leaks.
The adhesive is pretty good, I only had an issue with it wrinkling and bunching up RIGHT at the back (they are very long) and that's just a user-by-user thing.
For people who just don't get enough coverage from regulars or even supers they're perfect.

One thing I really appreciate is that they don’t leave any sticky residue on my underwear, which has been a problem with other brands I’ve tried. The long length and wings keep them securely in place, so I don’t have to worry about them shifting, even if I toss and turn at night. They’re also thin and really comfortable, which makes a big difference.
I can’t recommend these enough!
