Vicks VapoRub uses Eucalyptus Oil, Menthol and Camphor as active ingredients. It provides effective multi-symptom relief from aggravating cold symptoms when used in either of these two ways:
As rub on massage for temporary relief from dry coughs and muscular aches due to colds. Vicks VapoRub contains cough suppressants.
So if you want your loved one’s dreams to remain undisturbed, gently apply Vicks VapoRub on chest and throat before bedtime.
As medicated vapour to relieve nasal congestion. (For 6 years and above).
Add 2 teaspoonfuls of Vicks VapoRub in a bowl of hot (not boiling) water and inhale the vapours to clear blocked nose and ease breathing difficulties.
Do not heat directly or place in any container in which you are heating water. Never expose VapoRub to flame or use in a microwave oven. Such improper use may cause harm/burns. In case of accidental ingestion, seek medical assistance or contact a poison information centre immediately. Use care when using with hot/steaming water (not boiling) to avoid scalding.
Keep out of reach of children. For external use only.
Use only as directed. If fever is present or symptoms persist, consult a physician. Avoid contact with eyes. Do not take by mouth or place in nostrils. Easy applicatorI just love the new easy applicator. Whoever came up with the idea should get a pay rise. Thank you for making this product so much easier to use. I remember my Mother rubbing Vicks on my chest and back and also putting it in a bowl of hot water and having us kids breathe it in with a towel over our heads to clear our noses and chests. You are always my number one go to.

Repairs fingers and toenail fungusAfter spending a lot of money on “expert” products and Specialists, a Chemist suggested I try this product on my infected nails, so I used it 3 to 4 times daily and a few months later, the fungus in my nails had cleared. Brilliant Product.

vicks vapour rubI searched the shops everywhere to try and buy a jar of this, as I used it always on myself, my husband and my children when I needed to, and I wanted to keep on hand... a friend finally found some and bought and gave me a jar, and believe it or not, I rubbed it into my shoulder where I fell over and damagaed part of it. after using for two or three nights found I could sleep better, and it is helping to free up the muscles and make it easier during the daytime to lift my left arm and use it as well. I know it is good for coughs and colds but I used it as deep therapy literally. and am amazed at the results.. good on you vicks vapour rub.

Poor qualityI thought that we had purchased a child's rub but that was not the case. I can remember when in the old days this was a very good product but the new one is very docile and does not have the same quality.

ClassicI have been using Vapor y for many years now. This is absolutely fantastic for when you’re sick with a stuffy nose. Either rub a bit on your chest or put a bit in a pot with water and breathe in the fumes. Lasts for ages and has never let me down

Not strong enoughI recently purchased some Vicks vapour rub and was disappointed to find the formula is much weaker than it used to be. It didn’t work for me so I purchased a home brand version that was cheaper, stronger and much more effective. Disappointing.
