Love it
I have only ever used the Gentle skin cleanser so for a change I thought I would use this as it has fragrance in it. I actually love the smell, it is the main reason why I like this so much. It foams well and doesn't irritate my skin and is good enough to wash off sunscreen and dirt from the day. I don't think it would clean off makeup well enough though by itself, you would need to use something else first. I didn't break out, I didn't get a rash and it didn't irritate my skin. I am a normal combination with dehydration and it didn't dry my skin out either. I have been using this now for 6 months and will continue to buy it in this formulation as long as it stays this way.

Hate the new formula
Had no idea a new formula was made went to get my usual noticed the bottle had changed and everything else been using it absolutely hate it. Loved the old formual was a nice consistency and cleaned my face great. This is watery dont like the way it feels on my skin not impressed at all. Have been using this product for over 6 years now im at a lost wanting to find a new product.

Nice basic cleanser
Cetaphil is a brand whose products I’d generally always recommend for their low price, lack of irritating ingredients and good results, and this cleanser is no different. It’s a good basic cleanser for oily, combination, or acne prone skin that’s soap free, non-comedogenic, and dermatologist recommended. I give this one the edge over the gentle cleanser for it’s added ease in removing makeup, which the gentle version doesn’t do as well. It comes in a clear, gel formula that foams up very slightly and wont leave skin tight or dry. The scent is a bit odd as some have mentioned, but it's certainly not a deal breaker for me. A good option at a good price.

The only facial cleanser that does not hate your skin.
I have been using this cleanser for at least 5 years now. I used to have pimple-prone skin with constant whiteheads that does not seem to go away with the use of foaming cleansers.
After some intensive research, I realised that I have been using products that are comedogenic. That's when I started venturing into non-comedogenic products and landed on this product. I use this day and night to cleanse my face before applying any skin care products.
After religiously using this cleanser paired with a retiniod emulsion and non-comedogenic products, my whiteheads have since been wiped out, though it may come back time to time but my skin has never been healthier.

Gentle cleanser
I am surprised I hadn't reviewed this product earlier as I've been using this cleanser for many years now. I like that it's for oily skin but it's not harsh at all. It's a clear cleanser that foams up very mildly and cleans my skin really well without leaving it feeling tight or dry. I sometimes like to use it with my Clarisonic for a deep clean. It gets rid of any excess oil on my face but it doesn't necessarily improve the blemishes on my face. It's a good price considering the size. When it comes to removing I don't really use this cleanser as I find it doesn't do a good job of removing anything. It's more of a cleanser I use after I've washed my face.

An excellent cleanser for people with oily skin.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have tested this product for the last 2 weeks and I am convinced it is very effective in removing oil from my oily face. It always leaves me a refreshing sensation after each wash. I use it twice a day, everyday. No irritation nor allergy after each wash. It's very economical because only a small amount is needed for each wash and the pump design makes it easy to get the right amount while keeping the rest of the products fresh and uncontaminated. I really liked the scent which was mild but noticeable and just the right amount in strength. Highly recommended to anyone with oily skin and looking for a good cleanser.

I'm so oily
I recently stopped taking the contraceptive pill and one of the side effects was super oily skin which gets very congested and causes break outs. I ALSO realised recently that I have perioral dermatitis on my face, the only way to get rid of the symptoms is to stop using cosmetics. ugh. I read online reviews that Cetaphil is THE product to use for sensitive skin, and was excited to fin the oily cleanser. I've been using it for about a month now and I love it. I have it in the shower and will wash my whole body in the morning, and cleanse my face in the evenings. It has a slight lather, and a very mild boring smell.

I can't live without this product! (That's not an overstatement!)
If I had to pick one beauty product I can't live without, this cleanser is it hands down. It is the only cleanser for oily skin that has genuinely reduced my skin's oiliness. I have been using this cleanser since it first launched and haven't looked back since. If you have always had problems finding an excellent cleanser for your oily skin-this is your holy grail! Believe me, I have tried them all and this is simply the best! I was blown away at how much my skin's oiliness reduced after using this product for only a couple of days. Talk about amazing value for money, this cleanser is an instant standout product. Do your oily skin a favour and buy it now and reap the rewards!
